Kim Bundy-Fazioli, Ph.D., LCSW-R (Colorado & NY) is the founder and director of Mindfulness Matters Institute, LLC originally located in Breckenridge, CO (2014-2018) and as of July 1, 2018 is relocating to Delmar, NY.
Kim provides Teletherapy (via encrypted software) nationwide focusing on mindfulness and brainspotting techniques. She also provides classes in the 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn and 4-week Koru Mindfulness developed by Duke University Counseling Center. Kim is also a certified yoga teacher and interweaves gentle movement in her classes.
Research has shown that mindfulness practice can help to improve the immune system, personal health, professional performance, and add to an overall sense of improved well-being. Additionally, research has shown that mindfulness-based practice can decrease symptoms related to stress, anxiety, depression, and chronic illness.
