8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Classes 

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) classes are an evidence-based program developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D. at the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. The MBSR program is nationally and internationally known and is broadly researched. MBSR program has benefited tens of thousands of people, including those experiencing chronic stress and prolonged health conditions. MBSR training is a blend of meditation, body awareness, gentle movement yoga, and dialogue. Mindfulness practice contributes to one’s emotional, mental, and physical health and well-being, as well as strengthens one’s inner resources of mind and body.
